Having a look beneath the Surface...

It has long been awaited... It felt about as long as some of us waited (and some are still waiting) for the fourth installment of The Matrix. Unlike The Matrix fans we all finally heard the deafening drum-roll as Microsoft finally released the long awaited Surface... However if you listened closely, you would have noticed that our fearless drummer held back a bit, because the true prodigy is yet to come...

Lets Begin...

What is this Space Age Device?

Well... For those of you that still live in a time where the Lions actually play Super Rugby and where this thing called The Internet is only something that your cousin who knows computers can magically get going then here is a brief entrance into the 21st Century and the device that will change tablets as we know them. Unveiling the Microsoft Surface...

Surface is Microsoft's first tablet, and it's designed around Windows 8. Surface comes in two distinct versions, one model running Windows RT and one running Windows 8 Pro. The Windows RT model has an ARM processor, and though it still has the classic desktop, it loses the ability to run legacy apps. Microsoft is heavily featuring their Touch Cover for Surface, a thin screen cover that doubles as full keyboard. Surface can also accept stylus input

If it's still not clear...

The Surface For Windows RT is a true masterpiece and an absolute work of art in itself but the fact of the matter is that the Pro version is so much worth the extra wait... The need for your over-sized laptop would become non existent with the expected powerhouse that awaits underneath the Surface of the Pro version...

The last thought on my mind is merely... I wonder which one stands waiting at the end of EOH MS Masterdev...

  1. You're absolutely right, its worth the wait for the proper Pro version to "surface" - see what I did there? :) I want one and I want it now...

  4. You still don't buy it if it's Pro. Let me optimize it a bit for you...

    var chilling = true;

    while(chilling)
    {
    var Surface = getLatestSurface();

    if (surface.Type == SurfaceTypes.Pro)
    break;

    haveBeerAndWaitFor(1296000);
    }

    BuySurfacePro();
